1.  Do they carry Commercial insurance for the Minimum amount required be the Public Utilities Commission in the State of Colorado?

2. Are they licensed by the PUC to do business as a transportation company in the State of Colorado?

These are necessary to protect you.  Yes you may find someone with a better rate, but if they do not have one of the two or both of the above you are taking a risk.
